Due to the success of the City’s recycling program, residents whose recycling bins are presently being picked up on Wednesday on the east side of US 231 will be changed to pickup on Thursday starting on June 4, 2009. All affected residents will be further notified with a bright green sticker placed on your bin reminding you of this change.
Recycling bins will still be required to be out no later than 7:00 AM on the morning of your pickup and all recycled items will remain the same. No garbage, glass or hazardous materials will be accepted along with the recycling and all boxes must be folded for efficient pickup. The Tuesday recycling route and the Wednesday route not notified with a sticker will remained unchanged.
